Our Results and Reports
Wembley Primary School Ofsted Inspection: 08 March 2016
We have now received the final report of our recent Ofsted inspection. I would like to thank you for the support you gave during the process. We have been judged as a ‘good’ school and the report is extremely positive. The report illustrates that targeted school improvement has been successfully tackled, the school’s curriculum ensures high ambitions for achievement and the majority of pupils make accelerated progress. The inspectors recognised that the strengths of the school are:
- Pastoral support and care
- Engagement of parents
- Pupils’ attitudes to learning
- Early Years provision
- The work we do with children from disadvantaged backgrounds and
- Our Special Educational Needs provision
We only had two steps highlighted for improvement; they are around the achievement of Black Caribbean boys and the progression of scientific enquiry skills.
We are proud to be an Ofsted graded 'Good' school and take every advantage to celebrate the wide range of ethnic backgrounds and more than 43 languages spoken by the different members of our school. The life of our school is driven by enthusiasm and a desire to achieve. Through our curricuum we aim to bring learning alive, making it an exciting and stimulating journey. We want to give our children a thirst for learning that continues with them throughout their future educational experiences and lives. Wembley Primary School likes to celebrate success - at every level, so well done to pupils, staff, governors and parents!
